Business Resource Data Training

The Free Library's Business Resource & Innovation Center (BRIC) features FREE access to a number of databases that can help you, and the businesses on your corridor.  The librarians of BRIC will run a training on how to use these databases, which you and your merchants can access from your computer or at library branches throughout the city.

This includes:

  • Business Decision Database: Provides traffic counts, thematic maps to show business concentration, and demographic research.
  • Mergent Intellect: First Research: Provides industry profiles, to learn key industry and company business issues, monitor monthly employment and trends.
  • Reference USA: U.S. Businesses: Gives you info to do business competition research, to develop marketing and sales leads, sales and income info, and know more about who is moving into your neighborhood.

The Library has other tools that they will share with you that can help you and the businesses on your corridor or in your neighborhood save time, money, and be more effective.

This is a free event, but in order to attend you must RSVP below. Space is limited.

This training is brought to you by Alex Balloon (Tacony CDC), PACDC's Community Development Leadership Institute and the Free Library of Philadelphia.
